  • The Oracle of the Dapp works a bit like a lighthouse. It highlights certain activity in payment channels temporarily while maintaining privacy to the greatest extend possible – much like the latest generation of lightning watchtowers.
  • The oracle of the Dapp verifies lightning nodes, channel capacity, and the opening and closing of payment channels. Any lightning node operator can run Plenny`s oracle and benefit from rewards.
  • To ensure the security of the Dapp, validators have to deposit a minimum threshold of Plenny with the smart contract of the Oracle and keep the amount at stake.
