Channel Rewards

  • User verifies a lightning node.
  • Opens a channel with specified capacity(outbound capacity) towards a lightning oracle.
  • Applies for Rewards using the channel point(tnx id + allocation index).
  • The channel gets confirmed by the lightning oracles as opened.
  • User starts earning rewards 0.05% based on the channel capacity, daily.
  • The channel reward period is configurable, same as the channel reward it self.
  • When the current reaches the maximum potential channel reward, then the user stops earning rewards for this channel.
  • User closes the channel.
  • User can collect the channel rewards at any time.
  • The amount of collected reward is deducted from the max(potential) channel reward.
